1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Island Strides, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdiction of Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Island Strides for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only.
Under this license, you may not:
- Modify or copy the materials.
- Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial).
- Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the platform.
- Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials.
3. Challenge Participation
Participation in virtual races and exploration challenges carries inherent physical risks. Users are responsible for their own safety and health while participating. Island Strides and its parent company, Caribbean AI and Data Solutions Limited, assume no liability for injury, loss, or damage incurred during challenge activities.
4. Payments and Refunds
Entry fees for challenges are handled through WiPay. All transactions are final. Refunds are only issued in the case of technical failure of the platform as determined by our support team.
5. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
6. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
